Dirty water enters the filter and passes through a rotating drum that physically separates debris from the water. As the drum turns, solids collect on the screen and get rinsed off automatically, keeping your water flowing without interruption. A side-mounted drive motor spins the drum, while the internal spray bar with its red-tipped nozzles runs across the top and the control box sits on the lid.

At the heart of the unit sits a 60 x 50 cm drum wrapped in a fine stainless steel screen. Water flows through the screen while suspended solids stay behind, then get carried up and flushed into the waste channel as the drum rotates. Viewed from above, you can see the full drum wrapped in the 75 micron stainless steel screen, the spray bar with red nozzle valves running along one side, and the internal water chambers of the beige housing. The result is continuous mechanical filtration that never lets the smallest particles slip back into your pond.

Clogged screens are the death of most pond filters. Here, the external cleaning pump drives water through the spray bar, and a black high-pressure spray nozzle mounted above the curved 75 micron stainless steel drum screen blasts collected debris off the screen and into the waste container. This continuous automatic rinsing keeps the screen open and filtering efficiently, even down at the finest particle sizes.

The filtering surface is a 75 micron stainless steel 316 screen panel, tough enough to resist corrosion and fine enough to capture debris most filters miss. The row of high pressure nozzles along the spray bar is what makes the self-cleaning cycle so effective.
