The cabinet walls measure a full 3/4 inch thick, a far cry from the thin plastic or metal housings on cheaper units. Operational sound stays low at just 50/60 DB.
To mount the system you'll also need a 2" Schedule 40 mounting pole, which is required but not included. A Level-Aer™ equipment pad is suggested as well but is not included.

What to Expect After Installing Your ProLake Solaer 1.2 Lake Aeration System
When you first fire up any aerator, it stirs up poor-quality water and organic debris from the bottom. This can briefly increase oxygen demand and raise phosphorus and nitrogen levels. It's a sensitive stretch for the lake, but as long as the system keeps running, it works through these issues and the water turns around.
Running an aerator through winter helps the aquatic environment beneath the ice by keeping oxygen up and reducing sludge. A hole in the ice can form as a result.
