Oase ProfiClear Premium XL-Pump Fed Drum Filter 79,000 Gallon Self-Cleaning

Inside the tank, a stainless drum barrel wrapped in fine mesh panels turns through the incoming water on its internal drive shaft, catching debris on the screen surface instead of letting it settle and rot. When the screen loads up, a high pressure pump mounted inside the black tank blasts the mesh from the outside through a spray bar and flushes the captured sludge straight out of the system.

No deep excavation, no gravity pit. This system installs above water level: a pump in the bottom of the pond pushes dirty water up into the drum module, and filtered water returns by gravity back to the pond. That makes siting far easier on existing ponds and sloped yards where digging a gravity vault simply is not an option.

Flow range runs from a minimum of 6,600 GPH up to 13,200 GPH, covering ponds as large as 79,000 gallons.

The rear of the tank gives you real flexibility when routing pipe from multiple pumps or skimmer lines. Inlets include three 2" ports plus two DN 110 ports, and water exits through two 180mm outlets that mate directly to the next module in the chain. Alongside the DN 110 inlet ports you will find two stainless UVC-style housings topped with black Oase electronic heads and their switch boxes, plus the dirty water discharge outlet on the black tank wall.

Unused ports stay capped with the supplied caps, so you plumb only what your pond actually needs and leave room to expand later.

A wall-mounted microcontroller runs the show. The display shows current water temperature, while On/Off, Menu and Clean buttons let you set cleaning behavior or fire off an immediate wash cycle when you have been feeding hard. An Oase Control connection port sits underneath for system hookup.

Standby draw is just 5 watts, with 1600 watts called on only during the cleaning cycle itself.

Mechanical filtration alone does not strip ammonia and nitrite. That is the job of the bed modules, which use moving bed filtration to feed beneficial bacteria constantly churning through the white bio media filling those chambers, while the discharge module polishes with its black media panels. Each chamber links to the next with 180mm connectors, and every module carries its own red-handled slide valve drain underneath for maintenance.
