Moving Bed Biology and Aeration in the Oase ProfiClear Premium Compact M Biological Filter

Behind the drum sits a Moving Bed System loaded with 40 liters of white Hel-X bio-media. The media tumbles constantly in the current, which keeps bacterial colonies thin, active and fed. Those colonies convert ammonia and nitrite, the invisible toxins that stress fish long before the water ever looks cloudy.

Integrated linear air stones push extra oxygen into the module, and a connection kit for the AquaOxy 450 comes included so you can hook up aeration right away. More oxygen means faster, more stable biological conversion.

Flexible Installation and UV Ready Plumbing

The housing can be buried up to the UVC mounts, so it disappears into your landscaping instead of sitting on display beside the pond. Dual inlets accept an optional Bitron C UV Clarifier, letting you mount the UV directly to the filter rather than plumbing it separately, with the UVC mounting bosses left blanked until you add one. The black housing carries a warning label, and the bottom sludge drain fitting uses a red slide valve.
