The Hel-X floating bed bio-media chamber hosts the bacteria that convert fish waste and ammonia, and this moving bed is capable of decomposing up to 19 oz of food waste per day. 60 liters of Hel-X bio-media come included, and you can supplement with 20 additional liters as your fish load grows. Connections are provided for an AquaOxy 450 to boost aeration through the bed (sold separately).
